A few weeks ago, Asher and I joined an Adventure Camp hosted by Safeguard. It was our first time in Exploreum, I must say that venue alone was very educational and the activities prepared were loads of constructive fun. Asher did a lot of his “big kid” firsts!
First thing we did: Asher learned how to follow directions and read a map. Well.. sort of. haha!
Next, I tried to teach Asher how to tie shoelaces. It’s tough!
We even played dress up with these paper dolls.
After all of the activities Asher went to check his hands to see how much dirt and germs were on it.
Here’s a closer look. As Asher said it, “EEEEE…Yuuuuuuuck!”. And I couldn’t agree with him more.
That’s when we went up to the 2nd floor to wash our hands and learn more about germs and protection. And that’s when I realized this:
As much as I’m thrilled to see Asher enjoying big boy school, exploring his surroundings and new found independence… I must admit, I’m paranoid about his exposure to germs. Especially since I have his 8 month old baby sister in our home too. I don’t even want to think about where his hands have been, how much germs there are on playground equipment and even his iPad screen at home. Yikes!!!
Check out what I learned from Safeguard in this video:
I’m really glad to know that there is a product that is strong enough to remove the germs but still maintain his skin’s moisture since it’s dermatologically tested and proven to be safe as water.
I guess it’s safe to say that if Asher’s happy, mommy’s happy too. Oh and he super loved everything about the Adventure Camp because not only were there so many fun games and activities but everything was in his favorite color, BLUE!
Til my next post..
Disclaimer: I partnered with P&G Safeguard for this project but the review and opinions are my own. OBVIOUSLY. hahaha!
