I’m back in Hong Kong and the weather in February is simply amazing. I can never get enough of a cold weather country because it’s another reason for me to bust out my hats and start layering my clothing. I get a kick out of getting all dolled up!

Or in this case… I think I’m having a Michael Jackson moment. Haha!

A hat, cape jacket and wing tipped shoes is an androgynous look that lets me channel the inner boy in me. (When I was younger I liked guns, cars and outdoor sports. I was one of the boys… played with the boys, looked like a boy and my family thought I was really going to become a boy. Haha!)

But then I fell in love with fashion. That was the end of my “boyish” phase (although I still rather hangout with the boys: less gossip and no drama, haha!) and I started to experiment with the latest trends until I developed a style of my own.

For me, I think a cape is the new jacket that should be in every fashion forward woman’s closet. A cape jacket goes with pretty much anything, it’s comfortable and easy to use  (it masks fat, bulges and you can layer as much as you want) and most importantly: it’s looks so CHIC!
