Sterilizing your baby’s bottles until their first year of life is highly recommend! Put it this way, if you sterilize and minimize the bacteria your baby’s little tummy takes in – the less likely he/she will catch a bug and get sick. Hence, the information I’m about to share is life changing especially for those with infants. No seriously, Ecomom has changed my life and has cut the time for cleaning all of Alana’s bottles/nipples/breastpump parts/pacifiers, sterilizing and drying time of the all the nursing paraphernalia in half… or possibly even more.

Raise your hand if you can relate to my baby bottle station!!! Bottles and other nursing accessories are washed, sterilized with mineral water, placed on a drying rack which eventually goes into a container to prevent any contamination. For the past 2 months, I’ve been struggling to dry all my nursing paraphernalia before using them. And to tell you honestly, they’re never completely dry (even if I’ve left them over night)… I literally shake out the residue and pray that all is good.

Until… TADA!!! I was introduced to ECOMOM!!! It’s the first of its kind to sterilize and eliminate 99.9% of bacteria on surfaces using UV-C light. It sterilizes, drys and stores all your baby’s items to eliminate harmful bacteria. Plus it doesn’t need water to steam or dip the bottles! No mess, contamination and it’s super hygenic!

Yup, it’s a one step process and look at my current baby bottle station… now I have so much space. haha! I wish I knew about this product during Danielle & Asher’s time!

inside Ecomom

It holds up to 12 bottles, accessories and it has an area specifically designed for bottle nipples so that it can sterilize the inside too. Oh and you can also sterilize cutlery, cellphones, headsets, scissors, combs, thermometers, razors, toys, and even your computer mouse. Heaven sent, right?!

How to use:

Wash the bottles or accessories in warm soapy water and rinse well.

Load bottles or items you want to sterilize. Ensure that you spread the items out and not pile them on top of each other, as surfaces need as much exposure to light as possible for the germs to be eliminated.

Select the touch button: Choose the 3rd touch button for automatic cycle of 35 minutes. Or double tap for 55 minutes of cycle.

Double tapping for additional cycle time if you feel the need for additional drying or ventilation.

TIP: Shake off the excess water well before putting it into the steriliser cabinet to maximize the drying function.

And do you want to know the best part??? I didn’t have to order it online and have it shipped here. It’s currently available in Manila!!

For those interested, you can contact ECOMOM through the following accounts:

You’ve got to trust me on this one. It’s definitely worth every penny. Or should I say centavo!

Til my next post..
