Last night was a treat. I had a marathon dinner: 5 hours, Chef William Mahi’s 6 course Tasting Menu and we even order ala carte on the side. Major food coma!

It was my second time to visit The Tasting Room and you know what? It was as good as I remembered it to be. Only now, I took photos to document it. Yum! (Note: I’m not a food blogger or expert. I just enjoyed the dinner experience & food)

Oysters N°2, Marennes D’Oleron “Gratiner” Sabayon, Sturia Caviar served on Salt & Algae

Mushroom Raviolis, Cappucino of Ceps, Truffle Scent

Carlo and I were starving so we ordered the oysters and ravioli while waiting for our friends to arrive.

I decided to post the actual menu of Chef William Mahi’s Tasting Menu for your reference.

Caramel coated goat cheese with pulverized Parma ham, Dark Chocolate foie lollipops and limoncello jelly

Chef William Mahi’s Tasting Menu (chronological order)

And on top of this, we ordered a steak to share. Oink!

Mayura Station Bone in Rib Eye, Cóte de Boeuf’ 1.5kg Wagyu Beef, 500 Day Grain fed, Marble Score 6-7

Again I’m no food expert but to me the steak was nothing great.

My favorite dish amongst all was the 52° Egg in Potato Mousse, Onions, Confetti, Ceps Powder and Summer Truffle. It was super delicious!!!

I suggest that you get a private room when you visit. It has an LED screen that gives you a view of the kitchen. It’s nice to see the chefs in action and know how they prepare our food. It’s like watching a live cooking show. Fun! (Sorry I totally forgot to take a photo of the set up)

Til my next post… I recommend you try the Tasting Room for the food and experience.

The Tasting Room is located at G/F Crown Towers, City of Dreams Manila, Roxas Blvd, Paranaque City | For Reservations Contact +632 691 7789
