Good morning, Monday! I hope you had a fabulous weekend – Are ready to rock the last week of this month?! Gosh I can’t believe it’s mid-year already: time flies!!!
I’ve recently discovered an RTW (ready to wear) dress that fits so well, perfect for travelling and super comfortable. I’m clothed but I seriously don’t feel like I’m wearing anything because the material is so thin, light and air-y: the perfect dress for our insanely hot & humid weather! And YES – I have them in all colors.
I’ve actually worn this dress several times already, it also looks good in a nice pair of heels -BUT- I really love and can’t live without my gladiators. Even if I’m short (I’m only 5′) and usually the smallest of the bunch – I don’t care, I’ll wear flats. haha!
Gold is a very opulent color. I always mix it in when I want to look a little dressier than usual – THIS is my definition of beach formal since I wore this outfit to a wedding.
Here’s a fashion tip: If your dress is embellished with beadwork – use a similar shade for your shoes, clutch/bag and accessories. Individually it may seem too much – or in my case – too gold. BUUUT once you’re wearing it, it visually creates a break in all the right places and actually makes the outfit look more fluid.
Of course, I can’t go to a beach formal wedding without a date. Look who decided to join my OOTD: My loving and forever supportive husband who usually likes to stay behind the scenes. Say, CHEESE! :)
